JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced senior accountant to ensure the integrity of accounting information by researching account issues for compliance and by establishing quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
A Senior Accountant will be reporting to the Finance Manager. The main job is to implement and maintain an efficient account system with the appropriate software to achieve fault fee timely accounting reports. Both, project wise for different contracting projects as well as consolidated. The person will also be supervising a team of accountants to assist in this task.

2 Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
3 Analyze financial information and summaries financial status
4 Provide technical support and advice on management
5 Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
6 Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
7 Provide input into departments goal setting process
8 Analyze financial information and summaries financial status
9 Provide technical support and advice on management
10 Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
11 Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
12 Provide input into departments goal setting process
13 Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
14 Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
15 Plan, assign and review staffs work
16 Support month-end and year-end close process
17 Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
Bachelors of Commerce in Accounting
Must be a Charted Accountant
EXPERIENCE
10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
5+ years of senior accounting experience
15+ years of overall accounting experience
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
Awareness of business trends
Experience with creating financial statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
