Planning Engineer for Al Fanar, Saudi Arabia

•  Deciding on the most appropriate engineering techniques and sequences of activities for each project stage.
• Drawing plans; using specialised design software packages.
• Ensuring plans meet the clients specifications.
• Making estimations for timescales and costs.
• Supervising the project at all stages and providing solutions to problems.
• Collaborating with site managers, surveyors, engineers, site worker and other professionals.
• Organising the transportation of materials.
• Ensuring procedures are carried out safely. 

• Selecting the appropriate techniques and sequence of events for a particular project presenting schedules of work, often with visual aids such as bar charts and procedures diagrams using specialist planning computer software, such as Primavera or Expedition monitoring progress throughout the construction process and comparing this with the projected schedule of work.
•  Liaising with the site personnel throughout the process, making adjustments to projects as necessary preparation of accurate monthly budget updates and projection of final expenditure updates.
• Identification of possible cost over-runs before commitment to expenditure making recommendations, and translating results into meaningful actions/programs/processes preparation of reports monthly progress, cashflow providing advice and support on the development of specific systems
