About ABV Rock.
ABV Rock Group is a construction contractor that operates in several interlinked sectors covering buildings and civil works, and acts as a principal and specialist contractor. The core activities of the company are underground storage including tunneling, road construction and pipelines. We undertake construction of airports, hospitals, industrial plants, dams and bridges including all associated electrical, mechanical and civil works. We also have the capabilities of operations and maintenance of the Clients completed projects. We are ISO 9001:2008 certified by SGS SA.

History
ABV Rock Group Company Limited originates from the company Armerad Betong Vgfrbttringar which was founded 1918 in Sweden.
In 1974 ABV registered and opened a branch in Saudi Arabia, with the main office in Jeddah and a branch in Yanbu.
During the mid 1980 the Government of Saudi Arabia decided to implement a nationwide Strategic Storage Program and ABV Rock Group was contracted for the execution. The Saudi Strategic Storage Program, SSSP, commenced in 1987 and was completed and handed over 22 years later in 2010.

Today
When the Saudi Strategic Storage Program was nearing its completion the company ABV Rock Group Company Limited was registered for an initial period of 20 years in the field of General Contracting.

1) NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
Experience: Above 5 years of experience in the relevant field.

Job Description:
Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
Install and maintain network hardware and software.
Analyze and isolate issues.
Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
Evaluate and modify system's performance.
Identify user needs.
Determine network and system requirements.
Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
Design and deploy networks.
Perform network address assignment.
Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.
Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.
Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPNgateways, intrusion detection systems.
Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.

2) COMPUTER TECHNICIAN
Experience: Above 5 years of experience in the relevant field.

Job Description:
Installing hardware and software systems
Maintaining or repairing equipment
Troubleshooting a variety of computer issues
Setting up computer security measures
Configuring computer networks
Offering technical support on-site or via phone or email

3) DESKTOP SUPPORT
Experience: Above 5 years of experience in the relevant field.

Job Description:
To provide a single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment.
Iincludes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. 
Troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.
Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future desktop hardware needs.
Conduct research on desktop products in support of PC procurement and development efforts. Evaluate and recommend products for purchase.
Write technical specifications for purchase of PCs, desktop hardware and related products.

4) NETWORK SUPPORT
Experience: Above 5 years of experience in the relevant field.

Job Description:
Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves hardware-, software- and network-related problems encountered by end-users of the District network, the Internet, the mainframe, PCs anD Macintoshes and new computer technology.
Configures and installs Windows workstations and Macintosh operating systems in response to the demands of a complex network design.
Trains end-users on the use and features of the various operating systems and applications on the various platforms.
Performs primary network system administration on network servers as needed.
Installs, certifies and troubleshoots campus and remote-campus network cabling infrastructure, including a wide variety of local area network equipment and software.
Uses established tracking system to log requests; monitors progress, tracks problem resolution, identifies patterns of failure, researches bug fixes and implements solutions; communicates with manager regarding unresolved problems.
Works with vendors to resolve hardware operating system issues; researches and tests possible solutions and implements solutions.Analyzes bugs in system and application software; researches and tests possible solutions; implements solutions.
Works with Programmers to solve mainframe application problems to meet end-user computing needs.
Writes scripts and batch files as needed to enhance the function of the operating system.

5) SYSTEM ANALYST
Experience: Above 8 years of experience in the relevant field.

Job Description:
Design new IT solutions, modify, enhance or adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements, all with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity.
Must possess a high level of technical expertise and clear insights into current business practices. 
examine existing IT systems and business models
analyse systems requirements
undertake product development
implement, configure and test feasible solutions.
