Job Description


Overview: 
Soltius has been contracted to develop an SAP HCM system on premise for a government agency. There are 215 business processes and 100 forms. The processes cover both payroll and talent management including Nakisa. We are looking for an HCM solution Architect / lead SAP consultant for a two year engagement based in Ras Al Khaimah, U.A.E. The consultant should be Arabic speaking. The future for the candidate would be in HCM competency development within Soltius to create us as the “go to” partner for all SAP HCM needs. SF training would also be provided.


Responsibilities:
• Configuration and documentation of new design, after work shopping the business requirements with the client team.
• Provide SAP demonstrations to team to validate design.
• Participate in and help drive functional and technical design specifications.
• Support the development and executing the unit testing, integration and regression testing (build test cases, perform tests, and make changes to configuration or processes based on results).
• Lead and mentor the rest of the Soltius HCM functional team
• Work closely with the technical team to facilitate effective development.
• Develop and administer project documentation and provide training and coaching to end-users.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Technical Skills:
• Create overall solution architecture and develop blueprint for the contracted scope
• Configure system settings in all sub modules of HCM as requested
• Plan and execute acceptance testing;
• Create specifications for systems to meet business requirements
• Integrate SAP HCM processes with other SAP and non-SAP processes and modules
• Work with internal teams to deliver scalable solution to the business
• Identify and track- issues, risks and action items
• Provide effective communication as friendly & approachable team player
Interpersonal and Communication Skills:
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under tight deadlines with limited supervision.
• Ability to effectively communicate both oral and written to the IT team and business partners.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with the peers, management & leaders of the business area supported as well as within IT structure.
• Assume accountability and take ownership for ALL projects that you are responsible and involved in.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of SAP R/3 HCM experience, with full cycle implementation, international and upgrade experience.
• Proficient in SAP configuration and support for HCM modules: Payroll, Time, Benefits, Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, and talent management modules.
• Deep Knowledge of calculation rules, schemas, functions, programs or interfaces, user exits,
• Knowledgeable in SAP forms and Enterprise Portal 
• Knowledgeable on the technical aspects of HCM- Interface development, ABAP code and debugging
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under tight deadlines with limited supervision.
• Ability to work with users to resolve issues and convert business requirements into technical solutions.
• Understanding of the Operations of a large scale organization, Experience in following QA practices with regards to SOPs
