Job Purpose:
An Field Operation Lead supervises the planning, implementation, and monitoring of an field operations. As an lead, he/she ensure that irrigation efforts meet efficiency, water conservation, and quality standards, and landscaping or grounds maintenance efforts also the project is completed on time and within the planned budget.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Analyzing soil conditions and making recommendations for improving the crops yield potential.
2. Monitoring water levels in reservoirs and other sources of water to ensure adequate supply during periods of high demand.
3. Coordinating with landscaping companies to install new sprinkler systems or repair existing ones.
4. Preparing reports, writing memos, and speaking with clients about the progress of an irrigation project.
5. Monitoring the quality of water entering and leaving the irrigation system to ensure that it meets health and safety standards.
