Skills / Environment

Environment / Build / Release management experience within a large, multi-project set-up Understanding of Test Environments ( non production)
Maintaining stable and growing environments to support a range of applications, development and projects
Maintaining a central repository of test-environments in scope with their latest version and connectivity details (Information management) 
Allocation of test environments to teams as per requirement. (Demand management) 
Creation of new test environments as per requirement. (Supply management) 
Environment Monitoring (Monitoring) 
Deleting/ updating outdated test-environments and its details (Housekeeping) 
Preliminary investigation of issues on the environment and sometimes co-ordination till an issue resolution (Incident Management) 
Analyzing data for environment issues, identifying trends and taking pro-active steps to resolve issues / co-coordinating for a long term fix. (Problem Management)
Maintain good relationship with all teams

Technical expertise required

Thorough knowledge of SDLC support cycle and ITIL based change, release and deployment management
Complete knowledge of SDLC support cycle for application infrastructure support
Good knowledge of application infrastructure / hosting requirements according to sound industry best practices 
hands-on experience in handling projects for hosting new/existing applications and support of applications infrastructure 
Overall expertise required on application servers / webservers / database / Operating system / Storage / Networks 
Knowledge of KPI/SPI's pertaining to Test environment management
