Job Responsibilities
Responsible for clearing, updating & dispatching orders (inbound/outbound) as per agreed service levels.
Efficient coordination with supplier factories and consistent follow-up to ensure timely dispatch and arrival of goods
Ensure prompt clearance of goods from customs through accurate, timely and complete documentation related to receipt and dispatch of goods.
Ensure self and the team is updated in time with changes / updates in customs regulations.
To ensure accurate & timely flow of information with all inter-related departments.
Responsible to coordinate all inbound shipments related transactions.
Ensure a Lean process focus and continuous improvement as per PACE and HSE requirements.
Essential Qualification/Skill Sets
Graduate in any discipline
Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics field and international freight forwarding preferably in a building material industry.
Knowledge of relevant customs rules & regulations / documentation requirements.
Effective customer handling skills.
Basic knowledge of Warehouse Management System
Excellent communication skills.
