Mechanical Engineer for Magnum 3 Inc., Malaysia

Magnum is a well-established Electro-Mechanical Design and Development company in Malaysia with customer base in USA, Australia and other ASEAN countries. 

We are currently looking for capable mechanical engineer in our R&D department to work on new and ongoing projects. 

• Conceptualize and architect technological based products.
• Work independently with customer to conceptualize and create new product design, mechanisms and sub-systems, as well as the detailed design of the mechanical components which include plastic parts, sheet metal stampings, casting and rubber.
• Innovate to achieve breakthrough in product feature, quality and cost.
• 
  

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4-5 years of design experience.
• Hands on experience with 3D design and drafting.
• Good knowledge of plastics, rubber, casting, extrusion and sheet metal parts.
• Well versed in DFM of plastic, sheet metal and die-cast parts.
• Well versed in GD&T and tolerance stack.
• Good communication and problem solving skills and able to work in a cross-functional environment.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Magnum Malaysia Office, all work application fee, travelling and accommodation expenses are covered by the company.
