Network Engineer for Malaysia

Responsibilities: 
Functions as a network design engineer with respect to WAN/LAN/WLAN, VLANs, VPNs, internet access, remote access services, wireless connectivity, directory services, network security, VOIP telephony and related technologies..
Design, develop, and implement a cohesive, efficient, resilient, and highly functional data communications network. 
Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems
Remediate issues with legacy systems and integrate with updated design.
Take a lead role in defining the future state of LAN and data networking.
Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction develops designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable.

Mandatory skills
7-10 years of experience in design, implementation, and management of TCP/IP based data networks. 
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar technical discipline. 
Has extensive knowledge in routing and switching hardware, operating systems, and protocols. Strong knowledge and experience with TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, PIM, IGMP, etc.
Experience working with a wide range of Cisco networking products.
Solid understanding of firewalling and security concepts, Cisco and Juniper preferred.
Experience working within a large and complex network environment.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experienced in carrier/circuit management, troubleshooting, escalation procedures, etc.
Experience in Virtual networking technologies and Cloud Technologies, 
CCNP/CCNA, CCDP certifications preferred.
