Position Title:  Tool Keeper / Tool Issue Clerk


Minimum Requirements:
• Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Eng or Relevant
• Required Skill:   Experience in  Workshop/ Fabrication Shop for Oil & Gas / Petrochemical
• Experience:   Minimum 5 Years in relevant field

Job Descriptions:
Issues, receives, and stores hand tools and other equipment to technicians/Machinist. Keep an inventory of all tools and issues purchase requisitions to replace worn, damaged tools or equipment when needed.
• Familiar with tools, consumables, standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to a workshop environment
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Issues tools to craftsmen and maintain records of all tools drawn by each individual
• Performs a variety of tasks, including receiving new tools and materials, storing and shelving of good and identifies the bin location of each tool
• Technically competent to judge if a tool is in good working condition or damaged and need replacement
• Generate work orders to repair repairable tools like pneumatic or electric drills
• Generate tools inventory reports on regular basis
• Requests new tools or equipment using a computerized management system
