Software Developer in iQube, South Africa

iQube, a full ICT solutions company based in Botswana that provides hardware, software, networking and connectivity solutions, to a growing client base of varying sizes and requirements across Botswana, and the other countries (South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya) it operates.

• Should have proven experience working with Visual Basic, .NET, ASP.NET, Crystal Reports, C++, C#, PHP, AJAX, and versions of SQL Server (very good understanding of database technologies and SQL Optimization)
• Experience in developing web based application and CMSs will be an added advantage
• Have experience in mobile applications, typical technology mix will be a combination of Web 2.0 technologies, Dynamic Languages, WAP, SMS, Mobile device native API's and custom mobile application frameworks and tools
• Have an understanding and working knowledge of time and attendance machines
• Should have analytical, problem-solving and innovation skills, which should culminate in the ability to understand requirements and carry on with development of new applications
• Have a good understanding of Software Engineering methodologies and all stages of the SDLC
• Should have experience in designing applications from scratch, and have the ability to resolve technical issues / programming bugs quickly
• A working knowledge of Tally Development Language (TDL) will be an added advantage
• An exposure to Open Source products will be an added advantage
• Experience and exposure in the FMCG industry will be an added advantage
• Industry wide certifications will be an added advantage
• Should have the ability to manage and work within larger team and continuously mentor junior developers

Qualification: 
• At least a B.E/B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science or equivalent. 
•
