Cost Accountant for Shalina Laboratories, DR Congo

Applications are invited from the candidates for the following positions

• Coordinates costing processes includes calculating, reviewing and analysing machine and labour hours, overhead costs and allocations, productions rates, raw material costs & manufacturing process changes.
• Analyses actual manufacturing expenses and prepares periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual mining and production costs. Compares actual cost to estimates and identify reasons for variances. Providing management with detailed reports for use of making business decisions and controlling expenditures.
• Designs and understands cash flow. provides management and various departments with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures.
• Maintains files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accept accounting practices.
• Coordinate with multiple departments with a complete understanding of a process and contribute to cost decisions.
• Support CFO with projects as needed in providing financial analysis to evaluate special projects, process costing. etc.

Qualification: B. Com + ICWAI

Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in a mining and mineral processing industry. International exposure will be an advantage.

Language Skills: Fluent in English. Knowledge of French is an added advantage
