The Restaurant has been in business since May 2009. The restaurant recently shifted to its new premises. It is one of the most popular restaurant in Kampala, rated within top 5 dining destination.
The restaurant has following features:
Dining Area overlooking Golf Course with seating capacity of 150 PAX
Open to air deck with seating capacity of 60 PAX
Open to air rooftop which can host upto 500 PAX banquet event
Tapas Bar in mature garden, with seating capacity of 100+
The restaurant offers Casual lunch Menu (11 AM to 4 PM), Fine Dining Menu (6 PM to mid-night) and Tapas Bar Menu (4 PM till 2 AM). It offers fusion food with strong influence of European & Indian food.
Job Profile
He/she shall be overall incharge of Kitchen and shall be reporting to Managing Director. He/she shall be managing day to day operations of Kitchen, including Materials requirement planning, prep work planning, food costing, banquet function planning, special events planning, daily specials planning, training to kitchen staff, supervison & monitoring of kitchen staff, hygiene of kitchen, etc.
He/she shall be responsible for Menu updation and Recipe control. He/she shall be responsible and accountable for overall kitchen performance, and his/her performance shall be evaluated based on customer feedback analysis, food costing and management observations.
He/she shall have to submit weekly, monthly and quarterly MIS reports to the Management.
Salary Package : Salary depends upon experience (budget USD 1500 per month), caliber & qualification

Working hours
He/she is expected to work from 11 AM in the morning till closing (around mid-night) with break in the afternoon. The weekly day off shall be either on Monday or Tuesday, or two half days, depending upon the work load.
Qualification & Experience required
Graduate in Hotel Management from reputed University
Fluency in English
Hands on expertise in MS Office
Minimum 10 years of experience in reputed Restaurant/Hotel, with latest position being Head Chef in English speaking country (min. 300 seater capacity restaurant)
He/she shall have demonstrated experience of managing restaurant Kitchen independently as profit center head
