SNC-Lavalin is currently recruiting Rigger III for Saudi Arabia

JOB OBJECTIVES

Capable of selecting gear, such as cables, pulleys, and winches, according to load
Weight and size, facilities, and work schedule.
Fabricates and repairs rigging, such as slings, tackle, and ladders, using hand and Power tools.
Assembly and installation of supporting structures, rigging, hoists, and pulling gear,
Using hand and power tools.
Using pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures, such as beams, ceilings, and ginpole booms with bolts and clamps.
Attaches load to rigging, to provide support or prepare for moving, using hand and power tools.
Signals or gives verbal directions to workers/ Crane Drivers engaged in hoisting and moving loads, to ensure safety of workers and materials.
Tests rigging, to ensure safety and reliability.
Dismantles, maintains, and stores rigging equipment.
Manipulates rigging lines, hoists, and pulling gear, to move or support materials, such as heavy equipment, ships, or theatrical sets.
Aligns, levels, and anchors machinery.
Controls movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces.
Cleans and dresses machine surfaces and component parts.

EDUCATION SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

High School plus Heavy Equipment License from country of origin - certified from a recognized training institute.
2-3 Years relevant experience in a construction/ Engineering environment
Able to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
Good English language written and Oral
Decision maker
Understanding of English Language is must for the role
