ARKAY Investments Ltd is set up for distribution of household products manufactured by ARKAY Plastics Zambia Ltd. & ARKAY Plastics Industry Ltd (Malawi). Over the years, we have developed a strong customer base for ARKAY products in Zambia through effective and efficient distribution system. We are aggressively engaged in the sales and distribution of ARKAY products to various wholesalers and retailers of plastic products. There are more than 400 resellers who are selling our products across the country. In August 2014, we started our retail operations in Zambia with our first "ARKAY" brand exclusive store. Currently, we have 23 outlets across the country and we are planning to open four new outlets before the end of year 2016.
Plan, direct and implement Sales strategies and programs to achieve the sales objectives for the company.
Responsible for retail & wholesale sales in a particular region. The person will be taking care of 10 retail outlets and wholesale business in the region.
Develops Sales plans and budgets to achieve the annual sales objectives for the company. Monitor and control the sales budget to ensure optimum utilization of resources in the region.
Generate sales of company products in the region through channels / distributor & retail in order to achieve the sales targets.
Conduct regular market visits to check route coverage, competitor activity and continuously search for new opportunities in order to increase sales in the region.
Provide distributors and customers in the region with information about new or improved products and services in order to improve sales in the region.
Develop and maintain an efficient distribution network to ensure the comprehensive availability of companys products and services across the region.
Establish and ensure that all sales administration procedures relating to the region are properly implemented to support the sales teams.
Liaise with the Marketing team to ensure that adequate marketing support by way of merchandising and promotions is available in the region in order to provide brand visibility and promote sales in the region.
Should have atleast 5 years of experience in sales & marketing of FMCG / Household products.
Should have worked in the area of dealer network development or should have managed multiple retail outlets (atleast 5 to 10 outlets) for a period of not less than 3 years.
Should be self-motivated and willing to travel within country for atleast 15 days in a month.
