Retail Buyer for UAE (2+ Years Experience)

Job Designation: Buyer 

Department: Buying 

Reporting to: Senior Buyer/ Buying Manager

Location: UAE

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in a related field 

Experience: 
Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in buying 
Experience in purchasing and importing products from commercially viable sources/regions is an advantage 

Role Description:
Determine buying requirements and formulate buying plan as per budget for the assigned category Identify and shortlist potential vendors 
Travel to various destinations to finalize the process of goods merchandising 
Identify opportunities and risks through sales analysis 
Create and define product ranges for the different product categories within budget 
Track and evaluate category sales performance, market sales trends and competitor trading activities 
Conduct periodic store visits to collect feedback from the stores 
Oversee and manage placement of orders based the buying plan
