Urgent opening - Purchase Manager - OMAN -Construction -(Finishing Material/ Interior) 


  Very well aware of the finishing material of construction industries
· Well aware of local market
· Aware of the Sub-contracting work, terms and contract preparation
· Liaising between suppliers, manufactures and relevant internal departments
· Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, building and maintaining good relation with them
· Supervise the inspection of all supplies, services and equipment purchased to insure conformance with specification
· Stays familiar with the company's needs
· Communicates with executives and gains approval for purchasing contracts with new vendors or on new supplies
· Continuously comparison shops and negotiates to make sure the company gets the best possible prices on needed supplies


· Maintains a network of professional contacts in order to discover new opportunities for good deals on orders
· Checks inventory, tracks how inventory is used, and adjusts purchasing habits in accord with apparent trends
· Keeps a well-organized collection of contracts for easy reference when needed
· Attends meetings to stay up to date on the company's objectives
· Follow up with the delivery of materials as per the LPO target date
· Makes supply orders
· Co-ordination with account department and project team
