Sales Manager for Uganda

We are looking for below requirements:

Job Title : Sales Manager - Chemicals

Department : Chemicals- Uganda

Report to: Country Head - Uganda

Job Mission: Full P&L Responsibility for Chemicals Stock and Sales business in Uganda.

Principal Responsibility

1. Strategic - Chemicals

1. CRM- Development & Deployment.Identify and expand existing customer base,while retaining the current good ones.
2. Aggressive Business Development

1. 1. • Achieve Agreed Upon Targets
      • Create Product/Customer Matrix.Identify new product introduction opportunities especially the specialty chemicals.
2. Tactical - Chemicals
   1. Achieve Chemicals Distribution Budget - Tonnage, Revenue & PAT.
   2. Achieve Indent Sales Budget.

3. Manage Costs
   1. Audit Clearing, Bond, Transport & Warehousing Costs.
   2. Critically monitor inventories, reorder levels of various chemical SKUs.
   3. Establish Credit Limits & Monitor The Same.
   4. Debtors & Stock Reconciliations.
4. Manage Credit Risks :-Operate within Credit Limits & Manage Default Risks
5. Networking within the Business community & Keeping ears to the ground on Opportunities & business trends.
6. Other Duties as Assigned.

Educational Qualifications: Graduate Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Science background.

Knowledge & Experience:

1. Knowledge of Business Development , Negotiation & Risk Management
2. Prior handling of stock and sales operations of chemicals , preferably in a trading company.
3. Appreciation of Business Development Tools & Processes
4. Professional Written & Verbal Skills
5. Ability to Motivate Team
6. 5-8 Years Experience with at least 2 Years of independent sales responsibility.
7. Work Experience in African countries will be an added advantage.
