Operation & Transport Supervisor for Saudi Arabia

PMV department of a Leading EPC company in Saudi

Accountable for monitoring and documenting the utilization of fleet resources (operators, equipment, and tools) on site and ensuring that this utilization is in line with the planned / agreed utilization and in respect of equipment and tool utilization standards (proper handling, use, and down-times of the equipment, etc.) 
Ensures all fleet assets are properly tagged and licensed 
Prepares the accident claims to be sent to administration and follow up on repairs 
Follows up on third party repairs
Accountable for the mobilization and demobilization (hire off hire) of fleet assets
Ensures that a qualified driver / operator is ready to be transferred with the asset 
Accountable for the timely and accurate reporting of equipment (including rentals) and tools status on site
Interacts with fleet operators and drivers for daily operational matters
Assists the Transport & Operations Manager in fleet mobilization, and fleet demobilization
Manages and controls the timesheets of fleet staff on project sites (Fleet Coordinators, drivers, operators, repair crews, etc.)
Provides support for the professional development (including training) of direct reports
Allocates driver assignments, ensuring compliance with safety standards
Arranges the replacement of drivers on site, and approves their vacations 
Acts as the first point of contact for all drivers 
Ensures all vehicles are maintained in top working order 
Provides support for the professional development (including training) of direct reports.

Diploma in a related field
Excellent knowledge of the construction industry; ideally, has held a PMV role within a construction company 
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communications, and negotiations skills
Minimum 5 years experience in Supply Chain / PMV in a comparable sized operation
Experience in the Middle East is a strong plus
Good writing and IT skills
Fluent in English and preferably Arabic language
