Crane Technician for Technomax Middle East Engineering LLC, Abu Dhabi (UAE)

We are looking for EOT CRANE TECHNICIAN for Abu Dhabi, UAE

• Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at varied customer locations, as directed.
• Execute the planned preventative maintenance.
• Ensure that daily inspections are completed to standard and documented.
• Conduct on site-electrical, basic Mechanical, structural and electronics troubleshooting to determine the cause for equipment malfunction or failure.
• Must be capable of understanding electrical drawings, GA and other drawings.
• Should be familiar with Motor working, contactors, relay working, VFD parameter setting.
• Must be familiar with power cables, control cables, its descriptions.
• Complete service reports and other documents in neat, professional and legible manner as per Client standards
• Maintain regular communication with Service Engineer and Planner.
• Maintain all company issued assets in a safe and proper working order. Operate tools and equipments in a safe and responsible manner.
• Conduct on-site Mechanical, structural troubleshooting to determine the cause for equipment malfunction or failure.
• Should be familiar with Motor-Gearbox working, Hydraulics, Metal Wheels, Flanges, Oil seals, Motor Brakes, Thruster Brakes, Hook blocks, Chain blocks.
• Should be familiar and able to troubleshoot gearbox issues, basic rail alignment, and other mechanical problems.
• Must be familiar to basic load testing techniques and arrangements to help third party inspector to carry out certification of EOT Cranes, Mono rail beams, Chain blocks etc.
• Other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Engineer.

Required Candidate profile

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

1. This position requires frequent climbing, balancing, crouching and overhead reaching. This position requires occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling and crawling.
2. Must be willing and able to work at height. Must be capable of working in environment exposed to heat, cold, noise and heights.

3. 5 Year Experience in Electrical Crane including JIB, Overhead, Goliath, Semi-Goliath Cranes -Maintenance, Repair, Installation, Troubleshooting, Relevant material handling, Chain blocks etc.

4. Candidates should hold Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering
