MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES of the role are broadly classified as: Recruiting and Coordination
Candidates must have work experience in a Recruitment Agency in India or abroad. Must have experience hiring for different industries especially hospitality.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:
- Execute the recruitment cycle [end to end process] within the team
- Manage corporate phone screens, schedule interviews, email correspondence with potential candidates and organize candidate logistics for corporate clients
- Create and maintain recruiting files for all positions (advertisements, job descriptions, and announcements)
- Work with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and manage the experienced hire interview process including sourcing and screening resumes, selecting candidates for interview, conducting interview kick-offs and debrief sessions, negotiate offers, managing offer approval process, extending offers, and rejecting candidates
- Develop networks of people and processes to build a talent pipeline through both active and passive candidates and meet required hiring targets
- Communicate professionally, tactfully and with the utmost diplomacy at all times, treating all candidates with dignity and respect
- Manage the background investigation process
- Actively participate in expanding recruitment efforts including career fairs through on-site recruitment and/or event coordination
- Build and maintain strong social media presence
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
Desired Candidate Profile
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills are required to interact with managers, candidates, clients and team members
- Proficiency in using online sourcing tools that include web postings, diversity channels and cold calling
- Experienced in social media recruiting
- Prior experience using ATS (applicant tracking software) is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) and internet research skills
- Must be detail oriented and able to proof and edit documents, spreadsheets, etc.
- Must be able to handle confidential information
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field preferred with at least 4 years of experience in Recruitment
- Strong commitment to client and candidate as evidenced by responsive, well-crafted communications via email, phone or in-person; must be customer service oriented
- Ability to listen, maintain flexibility, meet deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team
- Desire to grow professionally within human resources function
