Devops Engineer for USA

 Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the teams to deliver great digital projects, on time and on specifications

• Daily communication of technical matters among internal team as well as external partners and client contacts.

• Ownership of devops strategy and infrastructure. Make recommendations and implement improvements based on current usage and future demand

• Development of backend features with an emphasis on quality, performance and maintainability

• Management of upgrades to development tools and platforms, such as Postgres and Kubernetes

• Maintenance of data engineering pipeline

• Focus on development team process improvements

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in high performing teams; demonstrated experience with engineering best practices and exposure to the concepts of lean startup development

• Exposure to security concepts, best practices and policies for cloud-based deployments

• Expert in Kubernetes

• Understanding of database design and implementation

• Familiarity with our tech stack (or related technologies):

• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deploy (CI/CD)
• Gitlab CI
• Google Cloud Platform
• Frontend: Angular, CSS/SCSS
• Backend: NodeJs, mySQL, restAPI, Redis, Java and (maybe

Elasticsearch)

• Infrastructure: Kubernetes

• Communication - Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely interact with team members, document work in a clear, easy to follow manner, collaborate well with team members, take in well- scoped requirements and ask the right questions to ensure clarification, seek out and receive constructive criticism well and listen when others are speaking.

• Leadership - Intermediate leadership skills with a proven track record of self- motivation in identifying personal growth opportunities
