Bio Analyst for Finland

 In the Clinical Chemistry Laboratories, we perform a wide range of analytics, including chemistry, hematology, blood group serology, microbiology, and secretion testing. 

The work also includes sampling work both in the laboratory outpatient sampling and in the hospital wards and emergency department.

The work is a three-shift one. Depending on your interest, you have the opportunity to expand your expertise in a variety of development and responsibility roles.

In the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory, we conduct comprehensive clinical microbiology laboratory research. 

Tasks include culturing, interpreting, and responding to samples. 

We work in a multi-professional team. We do basic

research in bacteriology, corona and influenza analysis. The methods consist

of culture, antigen detection, and nucleic acid techniques. The work includes

sampling work both in the laboratory outpatient sampling and in the hospital

wards and emergency department. In addition, you will have the opportunity

to expand your skills to work in a clinical chemistry laboratory and a pathology

laboratory. As a rule, work is also day and two-shift work on weekends. In the

future, the work will be three-shift one.

Tissue and loose cell samples are examined in the pathology laboratory. The

basic tasks of a laboratory nurse include the multi-step processing of tissue

samples and the processing of various loose cell samples for microscopic

examination. Tasks include blood sampling in hospital wards and outpatient

sampling. In addition, you will have the opportunity to expand your expertise

to work in a laboratory in clinical chemistry and clinical microbiology.

As a laboratory nurse in a health center laboratory, your job consists mostly

of serving appointment and queue customers and you become familiar with

being a versatile sampler. Your work includes blood sampling, gynaecological

sampling, cardiac films, fungal samples, and guest analysis. 

You will serve as a sampling expert on your team. Your job is a day job.
