Operations & Logistics Manager - Oil & Gas (DRC & South Sudan)
We are looking for an Operations & Logistics Manager who will be responsible for the overall organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of Petroleum products. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction. The incumbent will be based in Kinshasa, DRC
Responsibilities
1. Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service.
2. Ensure that distribution, logistics and operations of petroleum products is well managed;
3. Prepare product demand forecast based on historical sales to determine product order quantities.
4. Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
5. Supervise Business Development Team, through planning and implementing sales, customer relations, and sales team development programs.
6. Implement Policies, Procedures and Methodology to improve cost effectiveness and integrity within the supply chain.
7. Identify and evaluate current and new customer potentials, prioritizing opportunities for closure.
8. Monitor the effective and efficient operation of petroleum products network distribution system.
9. Draw and manage transporters contracts and all fuel agreements with other oil companies.
10. Monitor stock position and produce daily reports and as when required and
Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by superiors
Job Requirements
1. Holder of Degree in Business Administration or Procurement or Chemical and Process Engineering or any other related field.
2. Proven 10 years and above working experience in Petroleum Logistics & Distribution, 5 of which must be in a senior Management Role.
3. Record of successful distribution and logistics management
4. Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
5. Proficient in standard logistics software
6. Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
7. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
8. Must be consumer oriented and focused on strategic stakeholders;
9. Must demonstrate integrity and professionalism
Commercial Manager - Oil & Gas (DRC - Congo & South Sudan)
To support our primary mandate, we seek to recruit a result oriented, self-driven, positive minded & a highly motivated individual as part of our expansion strategy to fill the position of a Commercial Manager to be based in Kinshasa, DRC.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing business and sales development focused on sustainable energy products.
1. Provide leadership on all commercial matters ensuring costs are minimized and the variations to the works are captured, valued and submitted for agreement in time.
2. Manage top-line growth of Sustainable energy solution business in accordance with agreed targets and expectations.
3. The preparation, submission and negotiation of extension of time, disruption and prolongation claims, while liaising with planning and other project delivery departments.
4. Drive the business by being an active and visible presence within all target segments and with the end users.
5. Work on competence development of Business Development Managers and Regional Sales Managers, with a focus on coaching and mentoring.
6. Develop a culture of proactive sales management.
7. Develop and implement short- and long-term sales, marketing, and business development strategies.
8. Represent the Companys management team within Dealer Channels.
9. In collaboration with RSM, Business Development Managers, develop the sustainable energy solution business within South Sudan
10. Manage stock, demos, marketing campaigns, and other sales strategies for the sustainable energy solution business.
Job Requirements
1. 10 Years experience in Sales and Marketing, in the oil and Gas industry.
2. Experience in Retail Business Management
3. Degree in Engineering, Petroleum or equivalent
4. Training in Oil and Gas related courses
5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
6. Must be a strategic thinker and a have strong negotiation skills
7. Possess a collaborative mindset and work well as part of a team
8. Superior time management abilities and capable of meeting deadlines
9. Up to date on industry trends, as well as laws and regulations
10. Ability to build strong relationships with clients and industry contacts
