Security Engineer - Data & Analytics

Key skill

• Perform security assessment as per security controls for the Data Domain which includes Big Data Platforms, Data Warehouses, Streaming Technologies, and Reporting Engines. (Example: Hadoop, HANA, Power BI etc)
• Advise the teams for security vulnerabilities for Open-source technologies such as pySpark, pandas, numpy, etc
• Required to translate technical vulnerability into business risks
• Design security solutions for encryption, anonymization, data integrity, and policy control features in large scale infrastructures
• Understand implementation of data platforms and streaming engines deployed on Kubernetes
• Creating python scripts and have an in-depth knowledge of python and R.
• Familiar with Anaconda and other python IDEs.
• Familiar with concepts related to data modelling, machine learning, and statistical analysis.

Required Skillset: :

Tools -

• Specific Data Platforms & Security: Hadoop, SAP- HANA, Microsoft BI, Cognos, Qlikview, Sybase or similar.
• Tools: Ranger, Trino, Knox, Atlas, Spark, Flume, Pig, Ignite, Anaconda, Jupyter Notebook, Pyspark, Neo4j, RStudio and similar
• Specific Streaming Platforms: Kafka, Flink, Beam, Mirror maker or similar.

Experience: 4+ years

Joining Location: Dubai (candidate can be from anywhere but should be open to relocate)
