Role & responsibilities
- Bachelors degree in Safety and Quality Management or any other related discipline. Masters degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 15+ years HSE experience of which 5 years must be at a Senior/ Manager level in the oil and gas industry. Safety experience in the following areas: safety program development, fire prevention, hazardous materials, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, process safety management, process hazard analysis, incident investigation and the development and implementation of safe operations procedures and processes.
- HSE Qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures, Good analytical skills and the ability to think critically.
- Good public speaking and Leader ship skills, Proficient in all Microsoft Applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills &Good organization skills
