Key Accountability
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on UPS systems and battery chargers to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in UPS units and battery chargers.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as batteries, inverters, capacitors, etc.
- Ensure the timely and effective resolution of service requests to minimize downtime.
- Perform testing on UPS systems to verify operational efficiency and output.
- Conduct load tests and battery health checks to ensure systems are working within design specifications.
- Calibrate UPS systems as per manufacturers guidelines.
- Monitor the health of lead-acid, lithium-ion, or other types of batteries used in UPS systems.
- Test battery voltage, charging cycles, and replace batteries when required.
- Provide technical support to customers, answering queries regarding UPS and battery charger systems.
- Prepare detailed service reports, including service activities performed, issues encountered, and corrective actions taken.
- Regular travel to customer sites for installation, maintenance, and repair services.
Education and Certifications - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Certification in UPS systems or power management technologies is advantageous (e.g., Certified UPS Technician).
