The yard is spread over 200 hectares, 4 drydocks with the largest dock capable of handling the worlds largest ship and over 3,700m of berth space


Test Pack Engineer (EPC)


Experience : 5 - 9 years (Marine & Offshore industries)


Technical competencies:

  • Piping Construction plus minimum 3 years shipyard experience or similar construction industry.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience with equipment maintenance / calibration.
  • Good knowledge in piping tools and equipment.
  • Able to understand / interpret isometric drawings, GAD and P&ID
  • Comprehensive knowledge in ship construction and relationships between trades.
  • Competent with Hydrostatic / pneumatic testing of pipelines


Flange Management Engineer (EPC)



Experience: 5- 9 years (Marine & Offshore industries)


Technical competencies:

  • Piping Construction plus minimum 3 years shipyard experience or similar construction industry.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience with equipment maintenance / calibration.
  • Good knowledge in piping tools and equipment.
  • Able to understand / interpret isometric drawings, GAD and P&ID
  • Comprehensive knowledge in ship construction and relationships between trades.

Piping Supervisor



Experience : 5 - 9 years (Marine & Offshore industries)


Technical competencies:


Five (5) years of formal piping supervisory experience in heavy industrial projects such as ship yards, refineries, petro-chemical complexes, power plants, etc.

Should be conversant with applicable safe working practices, quality & standards.

Ability to manage / control a multi-national workforce.

Ability to effectively interact with project team members, clients, subcontractors, and multinational employees.

Considerable experience of supervising piping construction staff to achieve effective construction execution.

Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions (other preferences will be given for special language skills where there is a business need)

Hands-on job senior/general foreman experience in piping construction.

Possess excellent leadership skills and have the ability to effectively manage multiple team of pipe workers.




Welding Supervisor




Experience : 5 - 9 years (Marine & Offshore industries)


Technical competencies:


Basic knowledge of NDE / NDT techniques.

Thorough knowledge in various types of welding and brazing processes.

Basic knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

Knowledge and understanding of stress relieving processes.

Minimum International Welding Specialist (IWS) certificate according to ISO14731 or any other equivalent qualifications or DDW Welding Supervisor internal training.

Familiar with International Welding, Offshore Fabrication and Shipbuilding Standards (AWS D1.1, ASME VIII, ASME IX, ISO 15614, ISO 9606, ISO 3834-2, EN 1090, IACS Rec.47, DNVGL-OS-C401, EEMUA 158).

Thorough knowledge of welding consumables designation systems, estimation, ordering, consumption follow up, handling, utilization and control.

Knowledge and understanding of preheating and interpass control monitoring including various heat treatment processes.

Possess knowledge of MS office, Planning and basic Project Management skills

Ability to prepare, read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and all other project discipline related and engineering documentation.
