Factory Manager for Zimbabwe

Job Summary:

The Factory Manager will oversee daily operations in the clothing manufacturing facility to ensure production efficiency, high-quality output, and timely delivery of products. This role involves managing resources, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

Plan, organize, and control production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
Monitor production lines and ensure optimal efficiency and minimal downtime.
Ensure all production activities adhere to quality standards.
Team Supervision:

Manage and supervise production staff, including line supervisors, operators, and maintenance personnel.
Train, develop, and motivate employees to enhance productivity and ensure skill competency.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure product standards are met.
Address quality-related issues promptly and implement corrective measures.

Resource Allocation:

Oversee the procurement and utilization of raw materials and machinery.
Ensure cost-effective management of inventory and minimize waste.

Safety & Compliance:

Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing workplace safety regulations.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, industry standards, and environmental regulations.

Reporting & Communication:

Generate reports on production, quality, and efficiency metrics for senior management.
Collaborate with departments such as procurement, design, and logistics for smooth workflow.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant best practices.
