DCS Operator
AGE: Not more than 35 years
Degree: Diploma in Engineering (Mech./Elect./Power)
Experience: Minimum 2 5 years experience in operation of a modern gas/thermal power & desalination station.
Salary: 8582 Dhs (Total Package)
Roles and Responsibilities
1. The applicant shall be well versed in power / desalination plant operations through DCS system.
2. Responsible for monitoring and operating the plant / equipment from the central control boards and optimize plant operation. Responsible for satisfactory operation of the assigned plant (Boiler, Turbine, Generator and Desalination Plant) with the appointed crew.
3. Supervise, instruct and co-ordinate with the assigned crew efficiency and effectively fulfil their job functions and assignments.
4. Check and review the operating conditions and records in order to investigate the weak and troublesome point in advance of any occurrence. Maintain the operating equipment and facilities in sound and clean condition.
5. Maintain detailed operation logs for all operation activities. Carry out isolation of the equipment for planned and emergency maintenance and normalization of the plant thereafter.
6. Follow safety rules and ensure close adherence to the safety, environment and quality requirements. Should be willing to work in shifts
