Cartoonist / Comic Artist / Cartoon Artist for Malaysia (2+ Years Exp.)

Mind to Mind, established in 1995, as a publisher has been growing steadily. The company has successfully carved a niche for itself as a publisher, manufacturer and distributor of children's educational books and materials not only in Malaysia but also in Singapore, Brunei, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
We focus on books and other educational materials catering to the needs of children, ranging from a 3 months old to 12-years old child. This age band is the most crucial period in developing a child's mind. This runs parallel to our motto - "Building Better Minds".

Mind to Mind has till date created and published more than 1000 types of educational materials for this age group. All our resources have been well accepted in Malaysia and abroad.
Our vision is to be one of the top publishers of children's educational materials in this region, competitive in terms of content, quality and pricing. We are always striving to upgrade our products to keep abreast with the latest technology, in line with the changing environment and the needs of our customers.

Our mission is to create, design, publish, print and distribute quality children's educational materials which are competitive in pricing and innovative in content. We will strive to expand and improve our products as per the global changes, especially in the area of child development.

• Draw from personal perspectives to create cartoons that amuse, educate, or entertain readers.
• Develop animated narrated sequences.
• Interpret news in the form of cartoons in the political arena.
• Develop ideas from context.
• Confer with editor or publisher's representative on ideas.
• Sketch rough drafts and submit to editor for approval.
• Participate in the storyboard, typesetting and editing process of animation.
• Assist in story development, directing, cinematography and editing.
• Make changes to drawings as necessary.
• Work with publications to ensure the cartoon reproduces well on paper and make further revisions as necessary.
• Utilize computer software or hand render drawings in accordance with preference.
• Develop and draw comic strips on a regular basis for national or local publications.
• Meet deadlines consistently in anticipation of press time.

• Should have minimum 2+ years of experience as a cartoonist.
• Experience of sketching kindergarten cartoon will be preferred.
• Should have excellent communication skills.
• Should be able to work in a team. 
• Freelancers and Undergraduate will also be considered for this post.
• Should be creative and innovative.
• Should have a flair in sketching and drawings.
