To develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet the brand objectives. Effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the brand.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY (AOR)
Develop and implement the Marketing Strategy and Plan for the brand in all the countries where the brand is present.
Create and maintain the Marketing Budget for the brand in the countries where the brand is present
Use all forms of media and communication to build, maintain, manage and increase/enhance the reputation and image of the brand.
Understand the market, target potential opportunities and plan for potential threats
CORE FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITIES (CFA)
Marketing Strategies and planning
Develop and implement a seasonal marketing plan and budget that include: In store Marketing, In Store visual changes, Store Marketing Message, Marketing Activity & events, Facebook and email activities
Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget
Develop end of month report to include actual marketing plan/activity, budget and facebook report
Ensure a proper communication of the marketing plan/strategy across the different countries where the brand is available
Develop and promote marketing events/activities that will increase sales of the brand or render additional revenues to the marketing department
Analyse and understand sales in order to come up with activities to increase/maintain sales figures
Monitor overall brand performance and work closely with brand/sales managers to ensure that the overall brand performance and image is consistent and in line with brand expectations
Identify opportunities to enhance and build stronger brand equity for all brands presented
Supervise the brand facebook fan page
Develop online initiatives continuously improve online offering to develop a fully transactional website
Competitor analysis and monitoring
Develop pricing strategy that ensure competitive advantage
Conduct market research to understand market needs and trends through mystery shopping and other research activities to keep abreast of competitor activities
Send a weekly report with Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information in addition to a scan of missed opportunities
Visual Merchandizing/Graphics
Work closely with the visual merchandising team in order to ensure the proper display of merchandizing as per brand guidelines
Work closely with the graphics team and production team to ensure the proper execution of the marketing/POS materials
Visual Planning
Work closely and manage the Visual Planning team on the following:
Development of the visual and merchandising guidelines to meet the brand standards.
Communicate to Brand partners in terms of their requirements on SEASONAL CHANGES, SALE EVENT and PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES and provides final decision and approvals.
Direct the VM Planning department on the communications for the brand partners.
Monitor in the store design and layout in order to facilitate the display of promotional materials provided by Brand Partners, and optimise Return on investment.
Provide new ways and recommend to Brand partners VM and Marketing approach that are commercially acceptable to the market.
Monitor Competitor Visual Merchandising activities and international Fashion Merchandising Trends in order to improve Merchandising Standards and Visual Displays.
Develop and hire Visual team members and make them efficient on the jobs handled.
Customer Service
Establish customer satisfaction programs and answer customer complaints
Organize and implement client relations including:
client satisfaction surveys
client development activities
client skills training
special events
Maintain a clean and up to date customer database at all times across all brands ensuring proper capture of customers and prospects
Media and PR management
Identify, evaluate, negotiate and execute cost-effective media
Strategise and execute the communications/Media plan to maximise brand awareness and sales activity
Develop, book and monitor advertisements in media and in malls
Increase PR activity aligned to brand awareness- both internally and externally
Develop Fashion Retail Newsletter to be distributed on retail customers in stores
Communication
Maintain effective working relations and contacts with brand partners, key external parties, local and overseas and remain abreast of new developments and approaches relevant to the brand
Assist the Marketing director
Guide, direct, develop and motivate subordinates to work to their best potential and perform effectively on the job
Provide role model leadership to the marketing team coaching and developing them to their full potential, identifying training requirements where they are present and taking the necessary steps for continuous improvements
