Job Summary
Firefighters respond to emergency situations and primarily protect people, environment and property from all
types of accident and emergencies. They work closely to increase their level of fire safety awareness in order
to help prevent fires and accidents occurring in the first place
Duties & Responsibilities
1) Respond to alarms, drives & operates equipment and related apparatus and assists in the suppression of
fires, including rescue and emergency medical care of victims.
2) Attending emergency incidents including fires, road accidents, floods, bomb incidents, spillage of
dangerous substances, and air crashes.
3) Determine the root cause of fires; write reports and keep record of hazardous situations.
4) Responding quickly to unforeseen circumstances as they arise.
5) Cleaning up and checking the site after dealing with an incident or training.
6) Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following
manufacturers instructions; notifying supervisor of needed repairs.
7) Inspecting and maintaining fire station building, grounds and the appliances (fire truck) and its equipment,
assisting in the testing of fire hydrants and checking emergency water supplies.
8) Undertaking drills and physical training and taking part in training on techniques, use of equipment and
related matters; maintaining the level of physical fitness necessary to carry out all the duties of a
firefighter.
9) Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications / Licenses
- Firefighter I & Firefighter II certification.
- Airport Fire Fighter
Work Experience
- 5 years of experience.
