Job Title: Shop Operations Manager
Base location: Luanda, Angola
What you become a part of:
The successful candidate will independently manage a pharmacy outlet (part of Africa Pharmacy Chain) including all aspects of shop operations such as delivery, customer (B2C, B2B) Interaction, support staff, inventory, daily reporting.
What to expect:
• Opening and closing the outlet as per pre-defined schedule
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, infrastructure, visual merchandising for the outlet as per internal
standards, local regulations, and compliance requirements are met
• Oversee delivery operations are efficient to ensure orders are delivered to customers as per
agreed quality and quantity with the help of support staff
• Manage promotional campaigns, advertising, announcements, and events
• Receiving delivery of goods/products and ensuring quantity, quality against invoices as per
norms
• Routinely conduct audits for possessed inventory to ensure quality standards are met with
considerations to control breakage, pilferage, etc.
• Engaging consumers and customers to collect feedback on products, pricing, promotions and
report to zonal manager regularly
• Prepare and submit stock requisitions to operations/planning manager
• Daily operational reports detailing sales, expenses, and inventory
Essential skills, experience, and qualifications:
• Secondary qualifications such as B. Com is mandatory and life sciences/pharmacy qualifications such as B Sc/D.Pharm/B. Pharm is preferred
• At least 3 years experience in wholesale/retail set-up in the pharmaceuticals industry is preferred
• Excellent consulting and communication skills, with the ability to influence customers and internal stakeholders. High linguistic proficiency in English is a minimum
• Experience working cross-culturally with diverse colleagues
