Architect - Electrical Infrastructure for Geometric Limited (Netherlands)

Experience: 5 to 10 yrs.

Job Description :

• Define, document and maintain requirements and roadmaps for the electrical layout infrastructure.
• Translate the electrical infrastructure requirements from the customer in a product definition together with System Engineering and Marketing
• Investigate and write down the requirements of production and service.
• Concept study and definition of the electrical infrastructure of the products.
• Perform trade-off studies to determine the preferred implementation scenario for the realization of the electrical infrastructure
• Make concept designs that meet the international standards on electrical safety and EMC.
• Volume management of all electrical modules of the product in a 3D CAD tool. Making proposals for the best / most effective volume use together with the mechanical 3D architects. Make assessments for future volumes.
• Design and draw a modular electrical 3D concept that meets the requirements of the customer, production and service.
• Organize reviews with different teams.Management of the electrical interfaces between the modules in the product.
• Accountable for the realization of the maximum reuse of all standardized design building blocks for cables, racks, cabinets and modules.

Experience

• Multiple years experience in 3D Electrical system design in a similar function in a multidisciplinary organization
• Broad technical knowledge on electronics / cabling / mains distribution / electrical safety / diagnose / electronics cooling.
