Role and Responsibilities: (Job Role)
Achievement of sales objectives of a set of cluster/s.
Effective Management of front line sales personnel.
Effective management of channel partners (WSS - Whole sale stockist / distributors, Trade etc.) appointment, building and maintaining long term relationships with them.
Implementing and monitoring optimum utilization of trade marketing and end users marketing inputs (Scheme, trade scheme market development funds etc).
Analyzing competition in the branch and effectively protecting the market share.
Providing key trade / end user feedback on products, systems and policies, for improvement.
Effective Receivable Management - management of inventory at distributor locations under his branch.
Accurate sales forecasting.
Expanding the depth of the distribution network, geographically as well as segment wise so as to improve delivery to the end customer.
Complying and improving various sales operation processes like DRCP(Dealer Route Coverage Plan), Score Card for front line etc to ensuresales operations are well managed.
Recruitment of frontline people, retention and engagement and training to ensure people development and effectiveness.
By enabling interaction with business development teams, create capabilities to provide solutions to customers rather than just sell the products.
Coordination with support function of logistics and accounts to enable service to the partners.
Achieve monthly/quarterly/ yearly targets and goals set by the Company/Management. (Details/Figures discuss at the time of Appraisal/Reviews/Meetings).
