HR Compensation And Benefits Analyst for Qatar

  • Analyze compensation and benefits programs, policies and procedures to ensure alignment with HR strategy, business objectives, market position and legal requirements.

  • Comply with the unit policies and procedures.
  • Comply with work schedules (if applicable).
  • Comply with assigned responsibilities.
  • Recommend procedure change to improve efficiency.
  • Comply with motivation plans to ensure achievement of work goals.
  • Attend and evaluate trainings.
  • Perform data entry to ensure the preparation of performance reports.

  • Perform market analysis with regards to compensation and benefits trend across the country and the region.
  • Analyze and ensure that compensation and benefits programs adhere to relevant legislation and policies and procedures, and report analysis and required adjustments, if any, to Compensation and Benefits Specialist.
  • Review and respond to queries based on compensation and benefits policies, procedures and guidelines; escalate to Compensation and Benefits Specialist when needed.
  • Assist in analyzing costing, utilization and funding models to provide competitive plans to organization and recommend new and/or improved employee benefit plans and cost-saving measures.
  • Assist in periodically reviewing and updating manager and employee compensation programs to maintain equity.
  • Assist in designing the full range of compensation and benefits programs and identify eligibilities, based on approved grading structure. The programs include: salary structure, incentive programs and allowances, retirement, school fee reimbursements, visa reimbursements, consumable allowance, housing allowance for Qataris and non-Qataris, mobile allowance, baggage allowance for self (joining and family) and escort duty allowance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of pension program related to Qataris and GCC members based on Qatari pension law and other rules and regulations related to GCC countries.
  • Process requests for increments, ensure accuracy of calculation and eligibility based on business rules, and notify changes if any.
  • Process requests for salary data change, ensure eligibility based on business rules, and notify approval or rejection accordingly.
  • Process individual requests for compensation adjustments, ensure eligibility, and notify approval or rejection accordingly.
  • Provide support to employees and management regarding salary structuring
  • Provide training to relevant Service Delivery team to enable proper execution of compensation and benefits related administration processes. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field with a specialization in Human Resource Management 

  • Certification in HR (PHR, SPHR)  is preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience 

  • English Moderate

  • Arabic Preferred

  • Basic 

  • Problem Solving and Decision Making: Knows when to escalate a difficult situation.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Performs basic data analysis using systems/applications and reports out any practical conclusions.
  • Prioritization Skills and Multitasking Ability: Performs activities based on management guidance around priorities.
  • Communication: Updates leadership on issues and progress related to assigned work.
  • Conflict Resolution: Provides leadership with the appropriate information to resolve the conflict.
