HR Manager for Bangladesh

Experience: 7 to 12 yrs.

Accountabilities 

• Overall in-charge of managing community relations and community development programmes of Bunder project. 
• Mobilisation and coordination of the activities of community officers and immediate and extended team 
• Design and implementation of community engagement and development plans for the Bunder project 
• Support teams in assessments of other opportunities 
• Contribute to the pan of India community relations issues that could impact the Companies strategic direction in India

The overarching goals for the Community Functions are to

• Ensure there is broad community support and acceptance for the Exploration Project and
• Organisation's reputation is established and maintained in the area to assist in gaining future access to land and a social license to operate 
• This position supports the implementation of Community initiatives by the Bunder project and the building of relationships with the communities affected by it.

Education & Qualifications

• Post Degree in HR, social science or environmental sciences, community relations, economics or related discipline.

Experience:

• Exposure to having worked with an NGO with a emphasis on Water / Health / Education or 
• Having worked in a CSR role of a Corporate preferable with exploration companies eg. TATA, BP, CAIN or other International exploration Companies that operate in remote areas. 
• Appreciate the concept of Enlightened Self Interest (ESI), we can only succeed if all stake holders succeed, particularly the residents of the area.

• Company Vehicle provided for pick up and drop to site. 
• Attractive work schedule ( 10 days on - 4 days off or 20 days on 8 days off )- travel time included in time on.
