URGENT OPENING FOR "IT SUPPORT"
JOB LOCATION : SAUDI ARABIA
CLIENT INTERVIEW AT CHENNAI THIS MONTH END
JD - IT Support Engineer - Projects
Escalate IT issues to the ICT Manager where necessary
Diagnose and resolve technical issues
Support and maintain Desktops, Laptops, and Printers etc.
Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops.
Install authorized software to laptops and desktops.
Ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on desktops and laptops.
Antivirus installation to all desktops and laptops.
Fault-finding to laptops and desktops.
Reporting faults and maintaining logs on desktops, laptops and other peripherals.
Completing internal user moves including IP telephones.
Providing network related supports to end users.
Ensure all logs for equipment and users are maintained.
Perform deskside support service per Clients predefined/location specific service process.
Manage workflow and service request through Helpdesk ticketing system.
Escalate IT issues to the ICT Manager where necessary
Imaging/ReImaging end user desktop and laptop machines.
Software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for end users.
Hardware and Software upgrades.
Performances of IT support duties as defined by the ICT Manager.
Network printer installation/configuration.
General Desktop Support/Project Coordination/Move activities.
High level of customer focus and strong customer support commitment.
Support and assist colleagues; commit to and be accountable for overall group success.
Work with other support groups and vendors to provide seamless support to KSC operation.
Monitor, analyze and address reliability and performance issues.
Analyze problems, develop creative solutions and assess risks/benefits.
Develop strategies for resolving them and preventing future occurrences.
Assess and address compliance with applicable IP Policies, Standards and Technical controls.
Continually keep abreast of and understand Client's IP policies, standards and technical controls and compliance process. Advocate and promote IP awareness and compliance.
Document supported system and application procedures and processes.
Staffing the help desk as needed.
Keep abreast of technology changes and Client's operating environment changes to assess potential impact to supported systems and applications and to proactively look for opportunities to improve service and/or reduce costs.
Occasional afterhours and weekend support is required.
Participate in project work as assigned.
To comply with Information security policy of the organization.
To adhere to various ISMS policies as frame by the organization.
Education: Bachelor Degree in Information Technology
Experience: 3 to 5 Years
