- A Sales Manager will be responsible for managing all operations within a country. This involves taking responsibility for profit, revenue, cash and quality targets.
- In the Corporate Relocations and International Removals Sector, a Country Manager job may include being in charge of many areas of the business such as moving services, global mobility and records management.
- Agreeing annual budgets and producing a detailed annual business operating plan are tasks a Country Manager may have to deliver as well as monthly, quarterly or annual targets for revenue, profits and cash.
- A key part of the role of Country Manger will be to produce business performance reports, which could be on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Country Managers are expected to recruit and manage staff, including performance monitoring, and possibly mentoring and training.
- The role is client facing and so daily contact with clients is a big part of a Country Manager job, therefore the ability to communicate effectively is essential.
- Oversees the department activities with key managers including human resources management, operations performance from sales, marketing and public relations, supplies, logistics, to pharmacies product display and movement.
- Plans, controls and administers department activities including budget plans and other reports.
- Ensures availability of competent medical sales team from recruiting, placement, orientation and training of staff.
- Ensures continuous conduct of medical brands/products and equipment training and other customer service and sales training for the team.
- Oversees on-time and full display of all available items especially new delivered items in the showrooms.
- Adheres to standard policies and procedures and acts as a role-model to all employees.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as directed by the CEO.
- Deliverables: Business Plan and Budget, P&L, Periodical Sales Reports, Staff Performance Feedback, SWOT and PESTEL Analyses.
- Desired Candidate Profile
- 10 years and above experience field sales experience and demonstrated levels of performance across varied situations
- Age above 40 years
- Exposure to brand management, a distinct advantage
- Experience in similar industry and indepth product knowledge
- Good working knowledge of computers
- Leadership/Managerial Skills
- Strategic Thinking, Good Leadership, Strong Analytical Skills
