“TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER” required for Herfy Company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Good understanding Microsoft SQL, Monitor Database installation, perform routine tasks including reindexing, tuning etc. Monitor applications, SQL server batch uploads, Microsoft Windows OS (XP/Vista/7), AD/LDAP related issues, Tomcat/Apache Web Server related issues, issues related to settings in Firewalls/Anti-Virus software and Remote Software Deployment Tools like LANDesk, SCCM etc.
- The L1 Support Representative will create, manage, and respond to trouble tickets submitted by users
- BSc in Comp Science
- 3 years in a technical call center or help desk and 3 years in a technical troubleshooting related field
- Possess exceptional service skills and must be able to successfully communicate with all levels of employees in an organization via phone and email. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, helpdesk or customer service environment
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with end-users/customers
- Multitasks and works well in a fast-paced environment
- Ready to work in shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Manage trouble tickets seeking to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Own the ticket till it is closed.
- Ensure support services are operational within the specified SLA.
- Provide timely, quality responses to customer/partner inquiries and proactive communications as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Required Technical Skills
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2+ years overall technical support experience.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues in complex Enterprise Level applications.
- Demonstrated skill and passion for problem solving and operational excellence.
