English Teacher

  • Instruct students on interpreting literature.
  • Assign books to read, including classics and contemporary novels.
  • Help students interpret literature and poetry.
  • Provide background on authors' life and works.
  • Teach students about the structure and content of the English language, including proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
  • Teach about different literary styles.
  • Create instructional resources for use in the classroom.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities
  • Create positive educational climate for students to learn in.
  • Meet course and school-wide student performance goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions.
  • Create lesson plans and modify accordingly throughout the year.
  • Maintain grade books.
  • Grade papers and perform other administrative duties as needed.
  • Write grant proposals to gain funding for further research.

MATHS TEACHER

2. TEACHING RESPONSIBILITIES
To teach Maths to groups of students from all abilities across years 7 – 11.
To ensure that all lessons are planned with clear aims and objectives.
To ensure that all lessons are delivered in line with the departmental schemes of work and 
school policies.
To take into account the differing ability lessons of students and differentiate work accordingly.
To encourage all students to be actively engaged in their own learning and in reviewing their 
progress against targets.
To ensure that all students are known by name and that the classroom atmosphere is positive 
at all times.
To encourage and foster intellectual curiosity.
To deal with inappropriate behaviour quickly and effectively according to the school behaviour 
policy.
To check that all subject matter is effectively communicated and understood by all groups of 
students.
To set appropriate tasks and challenges for homework according to the published timetable, 
and ensure that it is regularly marked with constructive feedback.
To keep careful records of student progress in line with departmental and school policy.
To ensure that there is a high standard of display work in the classroom, which is changed 
frequently.
To keep work areas tidy and well organised.
To attend scheduled meetings in the Maths Department and school.
To work with colleagues in the Maths Department to formulate plans which have coherence 
and relevance to the needs of the individual students and to the aims and objectives of SVCS.
To ensure that all work in the Maths Department reflects the distinctive ethos of SVCS.
To help develop Maths resources for the school VLE.
To participate in Maths events such as trips and primary liaison.

Science Teacher

NOTE:  MA/BA+BSC/MSC+B.ED/M.ED WITH 6 YEARS EXPERIENCE AT CBSE CIRRCULAM. (CANDIDATE PREFFERED FROM KERALA & TAMIL NADU)

To ensure that all lessons are planned with clear aims and objectives.

HINDI TEACHER



Experience: 6 to 7 yrs

NOTE:  MA/BA+BSC/MSC+B.ED/M.ED WITH 6 YEARS EXPERIENCE AT CBSE CIRRCULAM. (CANDIDATE PREFFERED FROM KERALA & TAMIL NADU)

A position as a Hindi Teacher in order to use past experience and skill to further grow and develop the school and to the best of my ability. Proficient with the Hindi Language teaching 
Exceptional knowledge of language teaching methods and methodology 
Sound knowledge of the curriculum and syllabus of the language
