Qualification & Experience :
Should have Bachelor Degree in - Mechanical/Chemical/Polymer Engineering from a reputed university.
Should have min 10 years of working experience in manufacturing of high quality food packaging industry with process knowledge of plastic Extrusion, Thermoforming, Blow Molding, and Injection & Printing Process.
Should have sound knowledge on ISO 9001:2008, ISO 22000:2005 & BRC/IoP-Issue.4 Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials & should have hands on experience on implementation for the above said standards.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and related techniques
Working knowledge on SAP-ERP system is an added advantage.
Responsibility :
Reporting to General Manager.
Responsible for overall QA/QC activities in the plant.
Lead and supervise the team of, QC-Supervisors, Lab-Technicians & QC-Inspectors.
Responsible for implementing & maintaining the ISO 9001:2008 QMS, ISO 22000:2005 FSMS & BRC/IoP-Issue.4-Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials systems in the plant.
Plan and execute internal quality system audits including supplier assessment audits.
Work closely with various departments to ensure that all molded products is of the highest quality and conform to customers requirements and expectations.
Liaise with customers on quality matters & handle any customer complaints.
Review all quality records and reports.
Ensure that quality records are maintained and readily available for reference.
Conduct training for QC Inspector, Leader, Technician personnel.
Ensure that all products are identified during all stages of production and delivery to customer.
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities relating to the product, Process and quality system.
Identify, rectify and record any quality problems relating to product, process and quality system.
Responsible for scrap reduction by using quality history.
Follow-up and verify the implementation of Solutions, Corrective and Preventive Action taken and that they are effective.
Represent as a Quality Management Representative for ISO 9001:2008 QMS.
Represent as a Food Safety Team Leader for ISO 22000:2005 FSMS & BRC/IoP-Issue.4-Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials.
Represent as a HACCP Team Leader for ISO 22000:2005 FSMS & BRC/IoP-Issue.4-Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials.
Represent as an EMS Co-Ordinator for environmental management system.
