Business Development Manager for EMEL Group, Nigeria

    Due to our success and growth in the Nigeria we are looking to recruit a new Furniture Business Development Manager to join our institutional Furniture Solutions team.

    Responsibilities- 
    • As institutional furniture specialist you will be prospecting for projects and new business from Hybrid Furniture segment sold in restaurant, Schools, corporate offices , Govt. organizations & NGOs, create winning brand new & clients across the Nigeria.
    • You will be expected to build and manage solid commercial relationships at all levels within your acquired customer portfolio in addition to managing all sales, margin and cost of serve / profit
    • Working to set SLAs, KPIs and targets you will need to build a strategic pipeline of prospects to ensure we have a continuous flow of business wins throughout the year
    • You will be regarded as an expert in your category both internally & externally therefore you must be ultimately accountable for the full furniture sales potential within all accounts allowing us to reach our business objectives.
    • Ensuring the quality and quantity of prospect information is accurately represented on our internal database. 
    • Month wise monitoring of Product Group achievement against the target. Identify Large furniture Outlets counters in the country (Nigeria) either through distributor or Direct.
    • Developing sales tools and systems to monitor and analyze the customer database with a view to maximizing time to achieve quick wins whilst building a longer term business opportunity base.
    • Monitoring and maintaining a profitability standard with accounts consistent with overall company strategy. This includes proactively managing the changing landscape of product costs to ensure minimum profitability standards are maintained.
    • Working with the owners to develop a cost effective sales and marketing strategy in line with the market size and opportunities presented.
    • Play key role in developing new products as per market requirement.
    • Contributing to the proposal and pricing process by obtaining competitive, cost and other information required to develop a winning value proposition and working within the parameters of the quotation process to recommend and establish target-selling prices whilst obtaining necessary approvals. This includes compiling the supporting data, pricing strategy and contractual framework required to develop the basis of agreement on complex multi-year proposals. Ensuring requirements are communicated throughout the business. Communicating to the owners the outcome of negotiations and ensuring that contract copies are appropriately documented, approved and circulated
