Civil Engineer for The Horizon Properties, Zambia

Experience: 3 - 6 yrs
  • Supervising all construction activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction and coordinating with Site Management.
  • Monitoring work in progress for conformance with the latest approved revisions of specifications and verifying that finished work meets acceptance criteria. 
  • Administering adherence to quality management system and conducting compliance check with respect to quality frameworks document.
  • Handling execution of project as per specification, quality norms and implementation of work according to drawings.
  • Prepare Client bill, Estimation and Costing, Rate Analysis, Site Execution, Extra and Deviated Items.
  • Receive and review monthly site progress reports with respect to targeted dates.
  • Assessment of new contractors for execution job.
  • Generation of monthly consumption of material and indent monitoring.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports etc.
  • Prepare and Checking of Contractor bills.
  • Coordinating with Client, contractors, architects, Engineers, Supervisors, Foreman and different agencies involved in the project.
  • Coordinating with service teams related to civil works.
  • Liaising with clients, architects, contractors and external agencies for determining technical aspect of the project.
