Monitor inventory of Raw material and finished product and inform concerned departments for procurement when raw material reaches below levels.
Quality control of raw material as well as finished goods
Shop floor management, coordination with the concerned departments and communication link between management and workers.
Prepare daily, weekly production plan and allocate work to subordinates accordingly.
Supervise and provide technical guidance and support to the subordinates beside trouble shooting and de bottle necking the production process.
Prepare daily production reports and enter into ERP systems i.e. SAP.
Prepare preventive maintenance Plan and execute with the help of engineering team.
Maintain history sheet of machines and arrange necessary spare for smooth running of operation
Monitor performance of workers and provide necessary training to improve their performance.
Prepare and implement SOP (standard operating procedure) for various processes.
Ensure safety of man, machine and material during duty.
Ensure the implementation of various development activities e.g. productivity improvement, cost reduction, GHK and environmental safety.
Ensure discipline during the shift and take disciplinary action if required.
Minimum 5 + yrs in full boiled/Semi boiled laundry soap making process
Knowledge of continuous saponification
Experience in Crutchers, Saponification ,Blending , Caustic and silicate dissolving process
Knowledge of soap wrapping machine
Knowledge of pumps, cooling tower, chiller, compressor, spray drying system and plodders.
Exposure to African environment is important
