Site Safety Officer/ HSE Officer for UAE

Degree/ Diploma in Fire and Safety with 4 years experience in the respective trades computer literacy is a must.

Promote an enthusiastic HSE culture that delivers positive commitment to and engages all employees in continuous improvement in HSE performance. 

Advice on Health and Safety requirement to the site management before the commencement of the job. Review safety plans and ensure they are in line with main contractor policy and local requirements. Identify the hazards, report to the line management and advice reasonably practicable control measures based on the risk level. 

Conduct periodical meeting with site personnel and sub contractors to discuss and review the HSE performance. Conduct regular tool box talks and educate the persons on hazards, risks etc to maintain a safe environment. Accident/ Near miss reporting, investigation and suggesting preventive measures. 

Conduct periodical check on the adequacy of welfare arrangements in reference to the legal requirements. Check the effectiveness of Emergency Evacuation, Periodically and during the change of circumstances. 

Instructs and educates site engineers, supervisors and foreman who are designated to lead and execute the construction activities and also insist them in reporting all accidents/ near misses to safety department.
