Head CHEF and Chief Stewardess for 60M Motor Yacht, Vanuatu

Chief Stewardess

60M Motor Yacht is currently searching for their chief stewardess to join their crew of 15. 

The ideal candidate will need to have worked at least 2-3 years as a chief stewardess on similar size yachts and showed longevity. 

Attention detail, Excellent organisational skills, hard working, able to quickly adapt to change, strong communication skills, impeccable appearance and the ability to work well with the other departments of the yacht. 

Good computer skills in Excel, Word is required. 

The chief stewardess will run the interior department with two other girls, She will work as well with a very nice purser. 

An important criteria for that position is to have a very friendly and cheerful personality. Owners are really nice and family orientated, The captain and crew are fun. 

If you like water sports and kitesurfing then you will definitely enjoy working on this boat.

Qualifications: STCW95, ENG1, B1/B2 

Employment type: Full-time 3months off/ 1month off

Salary: 6,000 -7,000 USD per month- negotiable to the right person with the right experience and longevity

Head CHEF

The role will be Head Chef and you will be required to fulfill the regular day-to-day Head Chef duties such as; preparing food for the owner’s and charter guests. Overseeing the Sous chef, galley accounts, annual budget, food stocks, cleanliness for all associated areas and preparing great food for all on board.

The candidate will be required to cook for 10-12 guests. The candidate also needs to be able to work on short time notice, to be very flexible and open to last minute changes. He/She needs to be well organized and ready to be able to do provisioning from remote islands. 

The ideal candidate needs to be between the ages of Mid 30’s to Mid 40’s. Have a bubbly and outgoing attitude at all times and is happy to work within a good team environmentThe owners enjoy to have a variety of food and cuisines (Japanese, Americain, Greek, Spanish…) They do like to eat cultural or traditional dishes from different region.

Experience/Skills Required 8 years as head chef on a large yacht and working experience in private homes and restaurants.
