Data Center Technician for Brunei

QUALIFICATION : Degree / Diploma with 5 +years of Experience.


Duties and Responsibilities: 
Maintain constant attention to facility and system operations including DC Integrated Management System
Provide first responder services to alarms and other recognized system problems
Perform and provide assistance on required periodic operational and equipment inspections
Engage assistance from on-site and off-site facility technicians in response to operational faults and problems
Serve as on-site representative to facilitate subcontracted service providers 
Maintain a clean work environment - general housekeeping, 
Assist in the diagnosis and resolution of any common associated problem which could affect facility operation
Assists in the performance of equipment logistics throughout the facility
Utilization of computer based building and building systems operational control technology and systems
Consistent realization and acceptance of responsibilities and obligation to zero downtime for facility
Functioning and performing services within a planned/scheduled service delivery program
Basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing maintenance and repair applied to critical environments
Completes forms and other documentation fully

Qualifications and Training: 
Certified Technician: Electrical, Instrument , Mechanical or equivalent with 5 yrs experience in Operation and Maintenance
Critical Environment facility type understanding and appreciation
Planned maintenance concepts and practices understanding and willing acceptance
Commitment to serving as assigned at any time on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis
Strong operations, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance aptitude
Desire and ability to learn operational specifics of facility through training and experience
Evidence of trade school training or equivalent skills and experience
Fundamental safety training in applicable subjects
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Self-sufficient work assignment performance ability
Preventive and predictive maintenance understanding and acceptance
Possesses the mental acuity to assist team leader(s) with various work tasks and assignments
Displays the mental acuity to properly evaluate work tasks and resources needed to accomplish them
Willing to go the extra mile to successfully perform assigned work tasks
Can be depended upon to perform work tasks in their entirety, with little or no direct supervision
Customer oriented; strives to ensure good customer relations
Possesses the ability to fairly share work load and tasks with other team members
Ability to understand and initiate new work instructions and concepts

Skills and Experience:
Extensive tools and equipment application and use
Basic preventive maintenance and follow-up experience
Basic corrective maintenance and repair principles and application
Ability to read and understand one-line diagrams, Chilled Water Schematics, F & Gas logic, Gas Suppression Functioning
Basic building trades knowledge
General equipment operation practices and malfunction recognition
Ability to learn and understand building automation system operations
Basic HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical distribution system operations
