Assistant Factory Manager in Manser Saxon Contracting Limited, Oman


    Standardize processes for all work stations and implement best practices

    Outline proposed production improvements including but not limited to change in material flow, workshop arrangement, station instructions, resource allocation, machinery utilization

    Work with supervisors to implement process improvement recommendations

    Implement an improved efficiency measurement system to capture labor efficiency, material yields, and rejects/rework

    Outline and implement a process improvement framework

    Train production staff on lean manufacturing practices

    Work with Factory Manager to ensure production targets are met and on schedule

    Design maintenance programs, procedures and methods

    Carry out risk assessments on machines and work on standard operating procedures 

    Carry out preventive maintenance work and respond to machinery/equipment faults

    Diagnose breakdown problems and fix issues

    Train operatives on ways to ensure optimization of machines in the factory

    Carry out quality inspections on jobs in accordance with established quality management procedures

    Monitor and control production and maintenance costs

    Ensure there is continuous cover the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns
      • Experience in furniture production department.
      • Should have experience in team handling
      • Possess good organizational and leadership skills.
      • Should have valid passport and ready to relocate at Dubai
